With more than 25 years in the Graphic Arts/Digital Prepress arena working predominantly with catalog fashion photography. High end color and image retouching via Adobe Photoshop.
1981-1995
Prepress/Premedia Technician
Beginning in the R. R. Donnelley Lancaster Preliminary Center as a camera operator I quickly entered into digital prepress. A few years were spent learning and mastering Scitex Prisma until the Apple Macintosh desktop revolution allowed me to learn Adobe Photoshop.
1995-2009
Senior Reprographics Technician
Tasked with training about a dozen employees on the Mac and specifically Adobe Photoshop for color-matching, image editing and retouching. Responsible for onboarding highend fashion retailers [Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor and Polo.com to name a few] to the value of their premedia image quality performed in Lancaster.
2010-2021
Color Retoucher & Image Librarian
Hired by mens direct mailer, Paul Fredrick to transition all electronic prepress to be performed in house. Self-taught in Scene7 Image Authoring.
2021-Present
Contract Freelance Color & Retoucher
Through SystemOne I have worked with American Eagle Outfitters as a freelance image retoucher, color tech and image masking professional.
